Creating a website

So - here I am building a website at the ripe young age of 51. Who would have thought. I’ve dabbled before but never put in a whole lot of effort. Although this page is in its infancy, I think this time around will be different. I hope so.

Conversely, over the course of the last 12-months, or so, I have put a lot of energy into beginning to build a presence on IG and now I think I need to create a site as “structural support” and to lend greater credibility perhaps to my photography game and ambition. It will also allow me to categorise some of my work and make it easier for you to navigate. This is a part time love affair - as my full time job requires much attention - nonetheless, I will be focused. I am committed.

Why include a blog? Well - it might serve as a platform for me to express myself and perhaps for those interested, an opportunity to get to know me better. All in all a bit more intimate than an IG post with a limited caption. I’m no social butterfly. I intend to write about some photography things - as well as completely random unrelated topics of interest. No square boxes here.

I’m sure the course I’ve plotted will vary over time. I expect as much. And thanks in advance to those kind enough to visit. Your support and encouragement shouldn’t matter in my own creative endeavours. But it does - greatly.
